Monitoring of work in progress

Monitoring of work in progress MES PHARIS provides an on-line overview of the status of work in progress in production, including a clear representation of the performance of operators and the performance of individual workplaces.

Production orders under control

After implementing the system, you no longer have to go into production and find out the status of the order. Production terminals record the work of setters and operators and lead to better transparency of work in progress. System offers an online overview of status of all production orders and their completion prediction.

MES PHARIS is able to predictively display the current status of IN TIME / TOO SLOW performance, including a possible graphical representation of slip in production. You can use alarm system.

State of progress of orders in production, fulfilment

The system offers an on-line overview of the work in progress of production orders. The performance indicators (on time/off time) and the current scrap rate are important indicators for decision-making in operational production management.

Current performance of operators

The system offers an overview of the currently allocated workers for production orders at the machine/workplace. A detailed overview with optional attributes can be displayed in MES PHARIS in the main client, dynamic report or on visualization screens.

Early prediction of the completion of a manufacturing operation

To support Lean Manufacturing and to fulfil the SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Dies) programme, MES PHARIS offers the function of predicting the approaching end of a production operation. This allows optimization and reduction of overhead times associated with retooling or rebuilding equipment. This function also helps in the timely preparation of materials, packaging units or tooling. It is possible to set up the system to alert the necessary persons (manipulator, adjuster…) when the end of the job is approaching. They can start the preparation work in time, resulting in a reduction of unproductive times.

The semi-finished production enters the production plan

The advantage of capacity planning and scheduling is the ability to take into account the current state of production work in progress. This leads to a more accurate production plan. Other important factors that refine the calculation of the production plan are resource constraints: materials, tools, equipment, maintenance, personnel.
